Bentheim Shooting organizes the 2nd Hunting Eventing Tournament at the Steyr Arms European Shooting Center in Wiener Neustadt

After a successful start last year, the 2nd Bentheim Shooting eventing tournament will take place on August 29th, 2020 in the Steyr Arms European Shooting Center in Wiener Neustadt. Wolfgang zu Bentheim-Steinfurt is a passionate hunter and much sought-after shooting trainer. He recognized many years ago that today's hunters are good with either a shotgun or a rifle, but very few are really gifted with both, let alone with a handgun. Since all three types of weapons can now be used in hunting, the former African "Professional Hunter" decided to hold a competition in which all aspects of hunting are taken into account.  

With the Steyr Arms European Shooting Center, the perfect venue was quickly found. A large selection of hunting parcour stands, as well as 100m, 200m and 300m ball stands combined with running boar and handgun stands offer the perfect ambience.  

A series of 25 pigeons is shot at the hunting range, 5 shots at the running boar, as well as 5 shots from the handgun at 12m. With the ball gun, the shooter is also required to fire 5 shots while sitting at 100m, 200m and 300m.   Long-range experts, clay pigeon atomizers and driven hunt gods can compete here and at the same time demonstrate their skills on neutral ground at the handgun stand.  

Registration closes on August 15th. Participation fee is 65€. Not only the overall winner is awarded the coveted challenge cup, special prizes are raffled off among the top three in each category.

Hunting enthusiasts can now register at bentheim.shooting@gmail.com . The starting place is reserved after receipt of payment. The tournament takes place around 30 minutes by car from Vienna and is therefore also suitable for a long weekend with your partner.
